Vidatec CEO, Ross Wilson, Joins the Board of WeDo Scotland to Support Scotland’s Thriving Tech Ecosystem

Vidatec CEO Ross Wilson is delighted to announce his appointment to the board of WeDo Scotland, a leading community for Scottish entrepreneurs and business leaders. Ross brings his extensive experience in technology and digital innovation to support WeDo’s mission of connecting, inspiring, and empowering Scotland’s entrepreneurial community.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the board of WeDo Scotland,” said Ross. “Scotland’s tech scene is vibrant, ambitious, and full of opportunity. Being part of a community that champions collaboration, peer learning, and strategic growth is incredibly important to me personally and for Vidatec. We all benefit when entrepreneurs can share experiences, challenge each other, and support each other to grow sustainably.”

Ross joins the board alongside Chris Lowden and Yvonne Webb, bringing together a wealth of expertise from across Scotland’s business and technology landscape. Together, they will help steer WeDo’s initiatives and continue to strengthen Scotland’s thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Since its founding in 2008, WeDo Scotland has been a cornerstone of the country’s entrepreneurial community, providing a trusted network for dynamic business owners and leaders. With a focus on meaningful connections, strategic growth, and authentic relationships, WeDo offers members real-world expertise, high-impact events, and peer-to-peer support.

As a board member, Ross will actively contribute to initiatives that foster collaboration between established business leaders, emerging entrepreneurs, and innovative tech ventures, driving sustainable growth and meaningful impact across Scotland.

“At Vidatec, we understand the importance of collaboration and community in building successful businesses,” Ross added. “Joining WeDo Scotland allows us to play an active role in supporting entrepreneurs across Scotland and sharing the lessons we’ve learned along the way. It’s about helping others succeed while also celebrating the energy and innovation that defines Scotland’s tech sector.”

Ross’s appointment highlights Vidatec’s ongoing commitment to Scotland’s tech ecosystem and reflects the company’s belief in the power of shared learning, collaboration, and strong entrepreneurial networks.
