As a Solutions Consultant you will work with Consultants, Product and Project Managers, Sales Teams, Designers, and Developers to ensure that the customer achieves a stellar digital experience.  You’ll have a technical or development background and be technically minded with the ability to identify opportunities and drive innovation using technology.  You’ll have a broad technical understanding of development best practices and architectural concerns.  You’ll be happy qualifying technical opportunities up to and including a c-suite audience and translating technical terms into easily understood verbal and written solutions.  As a specialist resource you will be responsible for shaping our solutions as well as consulting, recommending and designing solutions with teams and clients.

You’ll be a collaborator, influencer, and natural facilitator – working with clients to understand their ambition, determine their technical requirements and deliver innovation with impact.

There are four key areas of accountability for the role of Solutions Consultant:

Be a customer trusted advisor – define customer requirements (design and technical) and provide advice to influence customers and internal delivery teams.

Be a technical evangelist – be competent in delivering both verbal and written technical capabilities of Vidatec product portfolio and our customer-centred approach to projects.

Be a facilitator build successful strategic partnerships with our customers and prospects, capturing customer requirements and identifying opportunities.

Be an innovation advocate champion innovative thinking in-house and with our customers and prospects.

The successful candidate will be part of the solutions team, partnering with the Sales function to continually demonstrate our business values, ensuring our customers experience the personal level of service that Vidatec prides itself in. Success in this role is determined by successfully engaging building partnerships with clients and creating a clear communication line between all stakeholders.  This is a new and exciting opportunity for a Solutions Consultant as we scale and grow.

Role /Responsibilities:   

  • Collaborate to deliver technical qualification of opportunities in conjunction with the design consultant and Sales teams
  • Understand the customer and their business and the challenges that enable Vidatec to deliver a technical solution that addresses their issues
  • Clearly and succinctly address and communicate requirements with internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver workshops and innovation sessions to determine and explore customer requirements
  • Collaborate to deliver customer proposals & reviews
  • Establish great working partnerships with the Vidatec sales, product and project management teams
  • Articulate the experiential benefits of the Vidatec portfolio of products and services, adding value to their service and experience
  • Ability to clearly articulate the benefits of solutions to a technical and non-technical audience

Essential Skills, Experience and Behaviours required for the role:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience/successful track record in solution design
  • Demonstrable ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders to a C-Suite level
  • A positive outgoing personality and determined approach to researching and influencing opportunities from a technical perspective
  • Demonstrates positive cultural behaviours with an ability to positively influence others
  • Work and communicate effectively with all areas of the business and customers – open and honest, vibrant communication model is absolutely expected
  • Self-motivated with strong sense of ownership, leadership and accountability, with an ability to work under own guidance.
  • Must be technically and commercially aware with good industry knowledge
  • Demonstrate the necessary behaviours to engage at all levels of the Vidatec customer base in all sectors and verticals.
  • Ability to look objectively at problems and offer a balanced view to resolving customer issues.
  • Team player, contributing to the overall success of the business and the team goals and ensure that you take people on ‘the journey’.
