Client Relationship Manager

The purpose of this role is to drive positive customer engagement in order to establish and retain strong customer relations with our existing Vidatec customer base. Key measurements of success for the role are ensuring that strategic partnerships with our customers are established with a real focus on commercial ownership of the relationship. As we continue to scale and grow as an organisation, this is an exciting opportunity for a Client Relationship Manager to develop the role and determine a structure and process appropriate to drive positive engagement.

The successful candidate must work in partnership with our customers and continually demonstrate our business values ensuring they experience the personal level of service that Vidatec prides itself in. Success in this role is determined by representing our customers and their feedback within Vidatec and creating a clear communication line between all areas of Vidatec and our customers.

Role /Responsibilities:   

  • Understand our customers business in order to position Vidatec as a trusted digital partner, building long term, sustainable revenue streams
  • Act as a Business Partner/Trusted Advisor to key internal and external contacts, including clients
  • Lead internal teams through collaboration and influence to deploy successful client projects
  • Opportunity qualification as part of an initial sale or requests outwith project work
  • Gather internal resource and services costs and present in a formal customer proposal
  • Articulate the benefits of the Vidatec portfolio of products and services, adding value to their service and experience whilst generating revenue for Vidatec
  • Define a pipeline and forecast of new business from within the existing customer base
  • Build strategic account development plans for our customers with an ability to articulate opportunities to upsell or cross-sell to customers future needs
  • Support the development of the strategic sales plan as Vidatec grows and scales our business
  • Drive industry leading customer engagement through a demonstration of personal service
  • Work with Project management and Support to proactively address customer issues
  • Ability to proactively oversee the management of stakeholder tickets through the support portal
  • Leverage Design resources to develop our customers service and develop ADP’s
  • Work with Products team to investigate all areas of our portfolio with customers
  • Work with Project Managers and leadership team to address contracts and SLAs addressing any complexities through the Head of Sales
  • Work with Business Development, Design and Project Management to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to customer including a phased approach to implementation

Essential Skills, Experience and Behaviours required for the role:

  • Extensive, demonstrably successful track record within an Account Management or Client Relationship position driving revenue within an existing customer base
  • Commercial acumen and excellent analytical abilities
  • Experience working in a technology focused organisation
  • Ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders
  • A positive outgoing personality and determined approach to researching and influencing new business opportunities
  • A proven track record in delivering strategic business cases within the business to determine customer needs
  • Demonstrates positive cultural behaviours with an ability to positively influence others
  • Role-model a client-centric approach to both internal partners and external customers
  • Work and communicate effectively with all areas of the business and customers – open and honest, vibrant communication model is absolutely expected
  • Self-motivated with strong sense of ownership and accountability, with an ability to work under own guidance. Experience enough to know when to escalate
  • Must be commercially aware and customer-focused with good industry knowledge
  • Demonstrate the necessary behaviours to engage at all levels of the Vidatec customer base in all sectors and verticals
  • Ability to look objectively at problems and offer a balanced view to resolving customer issues
  • Team player, contributing to the overall success of the business and the team goals and ensure that you take people on ‘the journey’
