Vidatec are seeking an enthusiastic, consultative and motivated individual to join our business development team. Using multiple lead-generation tools and HubSpot CRM, you will generate high quality sales leads via outreach efforts – including phone calls, email and social media activity. You will lead conversations to establish needs and qualifying to a Sales Ready lead status, partnering with the Head of Sales to ensure a robust and healthy pipeline is in place

In the role of Business Development Representative, you will be a “hunter”, reporting to the Head of Sales working very closely with the Sales & Marketing Team to ensure KPIs are met and all communications are aligned with Vidatec’s proposition

Job Summary

Role /Responsibilities:   

  • Creation and execution of Outreach campaigns that will proactively engage key buyers in line with Vidatec’s target sectors
  • Strategically engage a number of target clients through personalised communications
  • Qualify incoming leads and effectively handover those that are “Sales Ready”
  • Play a key role in delivery of a successful New Business sales plan
  • Build effective relationship with Marketing to ensure alignment on campaigns, create relevant content, thought leadership and tone of voice
  • Effectively articulate the value proposition associated with Vidatec’s services
  • Engage with cross-functional resources including senior leadership and technical leads to drive new business conversations with prospects
  • Reporting of KPI’s in line with Outreach efforts to Head of Sales and Exec team
  • Assume an active role in executing against your personal growth plan

Essential Skills, Experience and Behaviours required for the role:

  • Two years experience in a business development role
  • Energetic and tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong experience in using integrated CRM platform, preferably HubSpot Sales
  • Previous success in generating new leads through Outbound prospecting and Networking
  • Experience of utilising emails, phone calls and video prospecting in order to attract prospective clients
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work to targets
  • Ability to influence others and show tenacity with strong negotiation skills
  • A sales and technology background or degree would be advantageous
  • Hosting and facilitating initial customer engagements
